When the night sky is at its darkest, our eyes leap to the crescent moon. She defies the inky blackness, teasing us with her promise of fullness to come. These earrings are made from the darkest part of the mother-of-pearl shell which varies from black to deep brown. The crescent moon displays 3 textures: granulation, hammering and abstract circles.

Note: The shell's hue in the current batch of earrings is closer to dark brown than black, though they look black when there is no light from behind.
