Spiral Dance Necklace
- .925 Recycled Sterling Silver with Copper
I came to this design in stages, playing at first with blue copper, folding it over silver wire, clipping and cutting and bending it until the form of a sun began to emerge. I then held a silver disc behind and saw that spirals would give energy to the design. I cut out these spirals and attached the disc from behind the copper sun where it swings freely, giving this radiant tribal piece a jazzy movement.
*Note: a special coating has been applied to the copper to maintain the oxidized blue over time.
This necklace partners beautifully with the Spiral Dance Earrings and the Glacial Slate Ring.
