These burnt-umber Saga Seeds are miniature vessels for life.  I have found different versions of this seed on the forest floor in Nicaragua and on temple grounds in Bali. They form in the spiraled pods from the giant sandalwood tree. The pods turn brown, coil up and split open as they ripen. revealing these small bright red seeds. They are extremely strong and waterproof

Sterling silver encases a beautiful burnt umber Saga seed to reveal a sweet red heart on the front and full red moon on the back.  Beneath the seed swings a crescent of silver. (Should you wish, you can reverse this earring: simply open the little loop on the ear wire, slip off the earring, flip it over and slip it back on.)
